Crash in 1.13

Sun Feb 22, 2009 4:20 am

I completed turn 6 of the PBEM 1861 Civil War Campaign as Union and sent the CSA TRN file back to my opponent.

He cannot load the file without the game crashing.

Attached are the files I had as host at the end of the last turn.

From my opponent,

Here are the log messages from the boot attempt:

3:21:20 PM (Reporting) TGameSim.OnLoadGame_FilePicked C:\Program Files\AGEod's American Civil War\ACW\Saves\DvM-000\DvM~CSA.trn :Turn file loaded, # of entries: 124065

Please will you tell us what has happened here?

May be irrelevant, but this turn the HST, TRN and ORD files have suddenly all doubled in size or so.

I forwarded the CSA .trn file to support@ageod.com yesterday. The quote that chertio provided above was from my main log. I also have ver. 1.13b. No mods.

Is there any other information you would like me to provide?

...which no doubt said, your opponent switched off file compression without noticing (how?), and you still have file compression on so you cannot read the uncompressed file?

Just a guess :8o:  :bonk:
