Showing units/settlements etc.

Hi,

I bought the game a while ago, but only have time to start playing it now ...

One question I have is that it is that while I absolutely love the unit counters, I would like to be able to remove them (preferably with a hotkey) to better see the map and the settlements.
The large unit counters also cover up the settlement icons and even the name tags of the settlement.

It would also be great to be able to do the same with the settlements, to be able to admire the beautiful map and for planning purposes.

I didn't find a way to do this - am I overlooking something here?
How can I see the settlements in provinces in which there is also a large unit icon?

I suppose it can be added with a hotkey, its nothing to do in the code anyway...

If you hover your mouse over that part of a region that is not obscured by the unit counter, you should get a pop-up with all the details for that region.
