Pbem - replay possible?

Wed Mar 29, 2006 10:05 pm

Hello all....I truely do love the game. :coeurs:

Have talked a few people into buying! :)

I will soon be playing vs some people PBEM. But, I have a question about this? Is it under consideration (or even possible) to have a replay feature added so that the host could besides sending the TRN file send a REP(lay) file so that the other player could see what has happened....granted the actions are small...and quick...but....I think some players would like to see this implemented if possible. If this has been mentioned or addressed before in the forum....well.... :bonk:

Meanwhile..in my own game..'On to New York!!!' before winter hits.....

This has been suggested once, but this is not feasible for now, given the amount of work needed. What you see, when you host and process a turn, is not a "movie", but the real-time processing of the actions... This mean that the data of this "movie" are not encoded and saved, and having the game does that is a tremendous job.
