I'll keep this as brief as I can...
In the 1775 campaign as the Americans I was able to take Boston in the first year, and by then end of 1776 re-take a fallen New York and Philadelphia plus hold Hartford, Springfield and Albany.
Then in 1777 Boston had 12 breaches on it, the British took New York, Philadelphia, Hartford, Springfield and Albany. They were attacking Ticondaroga (spell), and many southern cities.
Washington's campaign throughout 1775-1777 went from Boston to New York to Philadelphia and finally hold-out in Baltimore. He was the one who took all those cities, but the British might kept squeezing him out.
Then the winter of 1777-78 struck. The British armies were seiging Boston and Ticondaroga, and Campaigning to keep Washington at bay. Colonial forces stayed in winter quarters. Well, that must have been one bad winter. By the Spring of 1778 British forces were quite obviously reduced. Washingtion re-took Philadelphia and New York. Armies in the north re-took Springfield and Hartford, swung east and relieve beleaguered Boston. It is now Fall 1778.
I hope you enjoyed my early game AAR. But now for my question. I was able to tell the British were hurting not only based on the lesser numbers of regiments on the map, but also by the RED dots along the bottom of the sprites. I understand that this indicates a weakness in the army, but exactly what? Is it their combat strength? Supply Status? Something else? A mixture?
Thanks in advance for your anticipated response.
