BoA Modding Manual

Tue Oct 24, 2006 10:35 pm

OK guys, thanks to Pocus I had a quick look on the BoA modding manual.

It is 85% finished.

The problem is neither Pocus or Philippe will ever be able to finish it . They are 200% busy with AGEOD second game (announce first week of november).

So I proposed to Pocus to make the draft modding manual public and to finish it by community developpment.

Basically, modders will be able to design new mods and scenarios for BoA with the actual draft manual. All the BoA scenarios will be available for change or inspiration.

For the missing 15%, Pocus is OK to answer to our questions. I can create a dedicated forum for that.

With Pocus' help, BoA scenarios examples and community work, I'm sure we can finish this modding manual in a much more effective way.

Now, I've read that some members of the BoA community are eager to make some adjustment with the early AIW.

So who will be interested to begin some serious modding, what if and scenario editing work?

along with the BOA scenarios, we are also ok to release all the database master files (in xls format) and the utility (a small one) which convert XLS files in game files understandable by the engine.
