Siege and Ambush questions

Thu Jun 08, 2006 10:49 am

Hi folks, can anyone answer:-

1. If I have 1 infantry unit + 1 artillery unit besieging a fort and 100 infantry units inside the fort - If the SRV is higher than the average TQ of the 100 defending units would they surrender? Without a fight? To 1 infantry unit?

Also - does the supply value of a fort gradually decrease if it is besieged?

2. If I set a unit to ambush and also plot it to move 2 regions will it try and set an ambush in the region it is moved to? If so there is a problem as it won't allow this if it starts from clear terrain.

Thanks, Chris

I noticed in my last turn the message "France is besieging Fort Western, but achieved nothing this month"

There are no further messages concerning Fort Western yet it begins the next turn in French hands. Is there any explanation for this?

However I have no idea what units I had garrisoned at Fort Western. I agree with other posts that it would be very useful to have a list of what units have been lost in the previous turn and/or so far in the game and how many VP's these have cost.

Cheers, Chris
