Not so random

Wed Aug 02, 2006 1:32 pm

I have noticed some strange non-random behaviour when playing as the UK in the 1775 demo. If the Royal Expeditionary Force doesn't land in May, Ward attacks the Boston Army, always losing 11 companies to British fire and 18 companies to melee. The British always lose the entire dragoon regiment and 63rd foot loses 1 company, with the other 2 severly mauled (1 heart left in 1 company, 2 hearts in the other). This is the result 6 times in a row.

a given set of action lead to the same results, this is normal and is made so that bugs can be killed easily (we must be able when a turn is restored to reproduce the same results to get the same bug). If you play a different game, the losses should be different (except if you and your opponent make the same moves)
