as a general rule, new parameters have to been typed if not present. So just type

param = xxx

(everywhere in the file)

Scroll Speed

I just added :-

ScrollAmount = 50
ScrollDelay = 0
ScrollIncrease = 1

and for me these settings are perfect! Many thanks for adding the ability to change these - it makes a great difference to my enjoyment of the game.

Please guys, could you give a computer illiterate a step by step on how to set or establish the delay. I mean step by step. I am not following this thread at all.

Thanks.

open the birth of america\boa\settings folder

double click on general.opt

when windows ask, tell him you want to open it with notepad.exe

at the end of the file, type these 3 lines:

ScrollAmount = 50
ScrollDelay = 0
ScrollIncrease = 1

save and close the file, launch the game.
