Any way to slow down the battles?

You know with the pop up that goes back and forth between the two sides? On my computer it comes and goes so fast that I have no idea what happened and I have to go back and scroll through my messages just to see what the outcome was. Any way to slow this down a little so I can actually see what is going on and what my losses are? It goes by so fast that to be honest I don't even really know what the pop up looks like. All I know is that it has an arrow and two flags and may or may not contain more information.

perhaps you would prefer the pause after battle option then... Have you tried enabling it in the Display/Media tab of the Options window?
