Look, game timeframe will be only ten years (1805-1815) and as we clearly see on screenshots, time will pass one day at one tic, basicaly like Victoria or EU. So it troubles me even more: with gameplay close to Victoria II (minus industry, voting system, etc.) it will have only 1/10 campaign length ...

For what its worth, I'm going to buy this game, but not because i want to play it, but because i want to support them financially. I abhor clausewitz engine games and I am not going to play them. Looking forward to the next AGE game. When are we going to get some more information? Johan will try to...

It may sond like heresy, but which have NCII have more to offer compared to the napoleon expansion for eu3 ? Having historical names for units, graphicks for them, portraits of leaders....is only nice bonus and fancy stuff, but if core remains same.....from gameplay is no difference if on that prov...

I understand why many AGEOD fans are disappointed with this game - AGEOD gathered a crowd of TB Wargamers, not real-time strategist, so of course they don't like that the best company in their opinion in such a niche is partially getting out of the niche. As for me, I completely come from Paradox (...

Why we criticize the game before even getting are hands on a demo? Patience is a virtue. Clausewitz has certain merits. I trust AGEOD's developers. PoN can still get updates, I don't understand the worrying. Since v1.02 the game is perfectly playable anyway. Cause i forsee it now: it will be crappy...

Ancient Rome game maybe? Anybody played old Phils game Pax Romana? It was never fully completed, but brilliant nonetheless! Even now i play it sometimes... If they wanted something realtime, then it is better to revive that label or create AGE game about ancient mediterranean.

New Project?

Paradox Interactive suddenly announced Napoleon's Campaigns II. I wonder have it some correlation with a "new project AGEOD working on" and we will not see new patches or most needed addon for PoN?

By the way, Napoleon's Campaigns II based on stupid Clausewitz engine and not on AGE.

You must find which countrys demobilization produces crash in your game. For example France will be "FRA_PartialMobilizationTracker". Or simply se...

Two times i have seen that Russia gain full control over half of Korea not being at war with her and despite Korea is Chinese protectorate. Same with Britain taking control over Dutch East Indies protectorates. Well, i think AI uses different rules than player.

Well, why not change inflaton in the that way that it will decrease your overal income(in state money and capital)? If Belgium will recieve 20% less capital per turn because experiencing 20% inflation, it will feel crisis more. And major economies will be hurt more then small ones.

Maybe inflation should lower income and not the prices? 20% inflation 20% less income, huge economies will suffer more than small ones. It can hit player more than inconsequential price increase. ?

I am curious how objectives are added - for China in my case. When an objective city is owned, does it become a national objective in due course? Or is there a game algorithm that makes such decisions? Or is it scripted? Thanks! Some are already added at the beginning, some through scripted events.

Objectives regions

As patch M stated: "Objectives regions are always at least in your claim list (can be national too, which is the grade above)."

But for Japan objectivees regions are not claimed (shanghai for example).
