Suppy Info during "Hosting Phase"

Is there any way to stop / slow the supply information that appears in the dialog window during "turn processing"? It appears so fast that you can't read it.

Activating Generals

Thanks for the info guys, appreciate it. Ace, I selected the "easy mode" (i.e. Leftmost box in the Activation rules). However, when playing the Bull Run scenario (1st turn) the units under Mcdowell were not activated , and attack posture was not available. This lead me to believe that "easy mode" on...

Does checking the leftmost box in the activation options allow Generals to attack when they are not activated, or does it just remove the movement penalty?

Activation of Generals

Just to make sure I'm not misunderstanding the options for activation rules:

Checking the leftmost box in the Activation Rules (Options / Game) allows those Generals who were not activated to MOVE without penalty. They still cannot go on the offensive, correct?
