to start a siege you simply move your unit(s) into the same region.if theyre not driven off by defending troops the siege starts. coordinated attacks are not really possible unless the units happen to arrive in the target region on the same day. having a unit of irregulers/indians in a stack increas...

ive no real problem with that link or others being there.i would just like to see purely cosmetic changes made to the map such as a ferry symbol with a couple of arrows showing the connections.the same could be done for the porterage routes. with such cosmetic changes there would be no need to chang...

And this type of crossing is not blocked either. It simply 'jumps over' the ships' [which is the same behavior that scuttled some of our unimplemented portage ideas

so blockading ships are useless :bonk: guess washington has a chance to escape then   :p leure: :niark:

View links from a region by selecting a unit therin and pressing <Shift> key. that only works if you have a unit in the required region.not very usefull for predicting enemy moves! :neener: on a seperate note,i understood that having a blockading naval force in offensive posture would prevent cross...

im playing france in FIW 1.06e. just received the message that most of flotte de motte has been ordered home leaving just defenseur behind.unfortunatly they also took almost all the supply, leaving defenseur 2 months from friendly port with enough supply for 1 month.the fleet before the split had eno...

the supply filter for FIW could do with being looked at as its inaccurate.ive noticed areas showing green when they should be red, orange when it should be green etc. not a problem for me as ive learnt to check supply levels of all units but it would be nice to have it working accuratly :) isle de no...

Why don't you make sure that only the unit that you want to receive replacements is in passive stance, this will then take any replacements going. (As long as you're in a region with a town and depot if playing with hardened attrition on.) unfortunatly that isnt the case.ive had units in cities on ...

i have been puling units in desperate need 'out of the line' and putting them in cities.replacements still tend to go to the static units. not sure about this period but only a few years later the british were raising replacements on a regimental basis.eg:- 51st foot would raise replacements for the...

i would like to see replacements only going to unfixed units.its very frustrating to see the few replacements you get being assigned to locked static units like garrisons when there are line units screaming out for them. :(
