Thanks much. Can you please show me the link for purchasing the kit to upgrade to Gold? For some reason, I thought upgrading to Gold was free for those who bought the original game way back when.

But as an original purchaser I upgraded to Gold without requiring a new key (and none was provided), and had no problem until this latest patch.

Something else 1.06H hasn't fixed

When playing against the AI, one side still seems to get the initiative on all fronts in army-by-army mode. Is this intended?

Yes, I meant the Second - would be useful to know overall # remaining.

Political Actions - how many remaining?

If you want to undertake a Political Action for a Nation before an Interphase, how do you know how many such actions the Nation has left (and thus how many such actions will be available for the Interphase after the actions are taken)?

Thx.

Hi all, as some of you know, I'm currently deadly busy with my "official" job. But, despite this so ugly period, I'm working little by little on bug fixes and improvements. I recently worked out a bunch of new graphical fixes and improvements, and I will soon come back on your problem reports! Than...

Hmm Try this, go to options and remove the fog of war for units for the player...in other words so that you can see the AI units without having to do aerial recon. See if the GHQ has any units left. If it doesn't then, it ought to be destroyed or retreat.....the latter should happen. To your 2) Aga...

Hmm indeed. To your 1) the GHQ ought to deploy all its reserve forces to initiative combat or retreat as per rules. Does this happen in WEGO mode too? 2) Did the British manage to slip past the GEI and GEII to end up behind your lines so that you had to chase them? Or are you saying that you defeat...

More issues that really are making the game unplayable in Army-by-Army mode: 1. Related to the "combat doesn't happen" bug: French GHQ and GE III both are in Sedan. No German units can cause combat to be initiated. French GHQ sits in Sedan and blocks supply. 2. British defeated at Mons, but retreat ...

Thanks Deadeye. Perhaps these issues can be addressed, as they detract from what otherwise is a gem of a game.

Some fruther issues in 1.06E

Some issues to report (all in turn-by-turn mode as CP against AI): 1. As noted earlier, sometimes combat doesn't occur when a force enters an region with another force (e.g., GE 1st XXXX enters Mons to battle BEF; no battle takes place). This most often occurs when a naval move is also plotted. 2. A...

British intercepting through Kiel Canal

1. Yes, I just had the computer send a UK naval group to the Baltic through the Canal and intercept a mission there. I assume that should be prohibited. 2. I got Spree to the North Atlantic - but cannot move him to Germany or the North Sea on the mini-map -- is this intended? 3. Still experiencing s...

Combat does not occur with 1.06E

It is Sept 1914 in the attached game: CP attack Colmar and Kliece, but in neither case does the computer resolve combat. The CP and Allied units just exist in same space. :non: A bug?

Hi Calvinus: No enemy troops; standard Early Aug 1914 situation: GE II moves through Malemdy to Liege; a detached Corps trails to convert the rails and enters Malmedy, but no conversion occurs.

More on RR conversion issue

Calvinus:

I started a new game with your new patch (for 1.06E). This time, I managed to coordinate GI, GII, and GIII. :bonk: The GEII detachment entered Malmedy but again did not convert the rail, even though set to do so. :crying:

The save game is attached.

Actually, Calvinus, the target area was for the same army (e.g., Malmedy). GE II moves through Malmedy to Liege; a detached Corps of GE II, set to move into and convert the rails in Malemedy, doesn't follow the order to move into the area and do so. [Since I was not coordinating the armies, GE I had...

Now *that* is what one calls customer service. Quick follow-up: in army-by-army mode, how do I tell if coordination is achieved (and how does one request it for that matter)? Are you allowed to execute both armies' moves simultaneously?

Too easy to move AH armies in W in 1914?

Calvinus: Very much enjoying the game in 1.06e. Two questions: 1. The first (per subject line): when I play CP in grand campaign start, with most war plans, the AH seems free to move the HQs and most units of the armies bordering Italy -- indeed, rail them to Galcia, for example. Should this be proh...
