the newest realtech drivers solved the problem and i now have everything set back to full acceleration.

Well I mainly just played with the hardware acceleration for Sound, Audio & Voice. They are all set to full as default and I now have Audio and Voice set at 75% with Sound @ 50% but eventually returned to 100% after the game started working. I’m going to play some more with it to see if I can get it...

Ok so I read a few more threads and someone was mentioning sound so I started tweaking the sound settings and after playing with the computers sound settings for a bit, the game now starts and plays. Not sure exactly what I did but it worked so all is well.
