AI Combat Resolution Question

More like two questions actually. 1) I keep thinking I'd love to play this game PBEM, or AACW even though I absolutely suck at both even against the AI, and while I'm relatively sure I'll never actually do it, I thought I might really give a full campaign game a shot in case I ever actually do (typi...

Short-form keymap?

Before I set about re-inventing the wheel, has anyone started (or finished and doesn't mind sharing) a short-form keymap/shortcut list? I saw the list in the manual, but considering how many windows are flat out not referenced in the UI (which I don't have a problem with, except for remembering what...

In addition to what has already been said, keep in mind two other factors (I've yet to see the Americans so I'm not sure if the first item is actually modeled): 1) Whereas most countries started with big troop organizations that got smaller and smaller over time, the US unit organization started big...

When it happens that the installer freezes at the end of the installation, it's important to close the installer not via the "Cancel" button. It must be closed with the "Close" button of the window or via the task manager. Otherwise the installation might be corrupted. Cheers Norbert Its a complete...

I don't know exactly what should be in the ACW directory, but it looks all there as far as I can tell. And I'm using the same installer I used when I installed a couple of weeks ago before I got my new motherboard/processor, and the same installer I've used in the past. The only new progress I've ma...

Hi nessin! Please make sure you entered your serial number correctly. Close all unneeded software before running AACW. Run the game explicitly as administrator: Right-click on the AACW icon --> "Run as Administrator". Hope this will help. :cwboy: Cheers Norbert Nope. I run everything as administrat...

Try this: First uninstall the game completely, next see post #7 of this thread: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=11319&highlight=Program+Files Notice that I suggest removing Program Files from the default installation path. This usually fixes Vista problems though yours is the first Vist...

Install problems and doesn't startup...

When I go to install AGEOD (after a recent format and reinstall of Vista 64-bit) the installer freezes and I'm forced to end the process when it reaches the "Finishing Installation" stage. It seems to install properly, but when I tried to patch it I get an error message saying the patcher is trying ...

WW1.exe crashes on run

Edit:
Nevermind, found the problem after I sat down and thought about it once I'd made the post.
