A way forward

I was thinking along the same lines...Since we are 1 or 2, can't remember, turns from being done, that should be agreeable. However, we need to find another host, as I believe that Barksdale is not going to be able to host it...I guess we need to check with Benway9 to see if he could host......We wi...

Our match status

We have come to a screeching halt just a couple of turns before the end of the first round. Barksdale is experiencing difficulties with his game and has not been able to rectify the situation in order to continue hosting. Not sure of the path forward, but wanted to let all know that we are stuck. Josh

Noticed the USA favor

I would be surprised if anyone could actually take St. Louis as the CSA. Not saying that is it impossible...but it is impossible. Plus with the advantage of size of military that the USA gets and maintains/strengthens it is not IF the CSA loses, but how close they can make it. Just my opinion. Josh

I'm one of the beginners

Hey there everyone. I am one of the beginners that was mentioned above. In my honest opinion. I thought of asking for help, but then I decided against it. I do want to learn, but since the scenario is quite short to begin with, I figured that I would be able to discuss my faults after it was over. A...

Sorry it took me so long to find the thread

I would have been posting on this thread had I been able to find it. Sorry for the apparent lack of enthusiasm. Yellowhammer, thanks for posting this thread. I have learned a good amount during our short skirmish. But am considerably worried about the next round... With one turn left currently, it s...

Looking forward to it

josh4bs - it's you and me, buddy. First, thank you for your work in Afghanistan. Second, I've only played the Grand Campaign (2xNorth and 1xSouth), never played the scenarios, so I'm with you on "playing the campaigns" before we start (if there's time). Third, I posted an AAR of my first game if yo...

I'm with you with the diving in strategy. I am not afraid of losing, I just didn't want people to be upset that they had to play a very green newb...As I said, I am looking to learn from the experience...

Let me know if you need any help with this...

I am a willing competitor...

Just not sure if you want me to play just yet. I just purchased the game and it seems to be what I was looking for. I am new to this. I have played some of the older WWII turn-based strategy games from back in the early to mid-90s, but have been out of the loop since then. I am currently deployed in...
