I noticed a bug recently in a two PBEM games I've been playing. When entering the recruitment screen as the Western Entente I set my unit filter to naval units then set the country filter to Japan. Yes, I remeber this thread. But Bedmar was not alone, was he? http://www.ageod-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=408&t=52368&p=397928#p397928 Anyway with PhilThib and Altaris gone, the game is unsupported. Only Bohemond can fix broken items in Ageod games files. If he wills to do it as a volunteer.

Evidently the better the processor and graphic card, the faster will be your Ageod games. Also a SSD for a faster loading. However and IMHO most of the problems commented by the gamers are related with software, Windows/Ageod engine relationship. Disabling UAC, not installing in "\Program files...

That is the Interception icon.

I meant that there was an error in the patch so that it would install in a different folder to where the game by default was installed.

But you may change the folder.

You are not searching where the game was installed, but where the saves, etc are stored.

In the desktop, where the icon to run the game is.

Right click on it and then click on properties.

Look at the target, it will tell you where the .exe is and then the folder where the game was installed.

In "EAW\Includes" folder you will find the file "WW1_Structures.inc"


You may open it with Wordpad, inside you eill find the structures in every region.

But first you must create the structure "Oil wells".

No idea of programming, just curiosity.

Are you able to rewrite the engine code in another language (better than Delphi) and make it capable of using multiples cores?

Your solution is a house rule. But why not add it to the game? Consider oil a war supply. Add war supply production to the regions where petroleum was already produced in the period. Basrah right now produces 0. It is similar to coal or iron already included in the game. You must also add the text, ...
