"Use BGG to get info about a game you would like to buy, use CSW after you have bought the game to get detailed info from the designer."

Exactly !! BGG has also some good AAR regularly for many games.

Nice Scythed chariots, the picture is too small to read everything but it seems that General Taxiles is there but i'm unable to read the others, some Phalanx are there too. Are the Bronze Shields Elite units included, they are a little like actually the successors of the Hyspaspist and Silvershields...

Nice Avatar Franciscus(my favorite greek helmet since childhood !!), taken from AJE ? I doubt that it was still in use in the period covered by the game but at least the picture is done for any Persian, Peloponesian war (depending of the cut of the map)and some more war. I hope that Pangi will do mo...

Some cool legionnaries of the 190's. Is this a muscle cuirass at this time ?
I don't know much about Empire uniforms being more accustomed to Republican ones.
Cool fortifications on the border (Casta).

" The naval war is directly on the map (be careful of the storms at sea during the Antiquity !!)"
" and part of the map with weather filter."

Nice to see that the best plans can be destroyed by Poseidon/Neptune.
How it works for the weather filter ?

Thus when you say Generic counter Eagle for a legion means that all the legions will be represented by Eagles rather than a figurine with a Uniform ? I'm a little surprised, i hope that a click on the Eagle in order to have information on the legion will have also a legionnaire displayed on the info...

"The eagles are used as as 'generic' graphics to tell the player there is a Legion there" What does it mean ? A click and a legion is separated in Ad-hoc/Kampfgruppe groups ? The legion is not a basic unit meaning early Republic will have for each legion, a Velite counter, a Hastati counter, a Prin...

" But whats up with the Early Imperial Helmet and and white black plumes" I think this is generic Roman counter to be opposed to main leader with real portrait. For the Legion don't worry Wisje, Pangi is a History aficionado and the Uniforms should be respected thus your Marian Legion should have th...

Yes one of the Mithridates war at the same time as Sertorius. It seems that Pangi/Gpepper are working on the Romans since the Legio counters are generic Eagles for now. I hope that after Republican soldiers/Marius legion counters are done, you will have/find a use for these Eagles perhaps depots leg...

What is the currency used for the game : Talents or Sesterces ? A cool feature with other games was that after a battle you could get somes muskets/rifles, did you (will you do ) do something of a rule after the taking of a city by assault giving some money by the selling of captives or ransoms. I have to verified Caesar about his gallic wars but i think towers were used at Avaricum. I will wait Bohémond's new features.
