Southern Pacific, Northern Atlantic and other off map Naval Boxes.

Does either Union or Confederate ships have any reason to occupy these boxes? For example will Commence Raiders or Blockade Runners function in these boxes or will Union Ships increase Blockade percentage?

Ok I tinkered with files in the very latest version of the game on a Windows 7 system. It took me awhile to figure it all out but here is what finally ended up working for me. 1) In Games/Civil War II/CW2/Events I found the file (1861 April Campaign) By doing a replace all FixType = 999 to Fixtype =...

California, best path eastward?

Does anyone know the best path to get off map Regulars in California and those Far West areas into main theaters? For example MO or even VA?

I see here a lot of discussion about the Union Player not being aggressive and should be punished for not being aggressive. In a few post I've seen the argument that as a human player we have knowledge of the benefit of building strong armies before attacking - very legit, especially because Confede...

Want someone to MOD Fixed Units.

I know nothing about Modding, I would like someone to make the following Mod for the full April Campaign. After 1863 both Union and Confederate should be able to call Garrison Troops for their emergency needs. Grant called them for the replacement of losses during his campaign against Lee. I know of...

Poor old Rosy forgotten again. Rosecrans was the General in the early Western Virginia campaigns, Mac got the credit but Rosy did the fighting. He then got "lost" in the Capital, too important to ignore, not enough tits to give him one to command, but he was respected and powerful still and a result...

Perhaps it would nicer if the probability of a Fremont event would be higher (he was driven by his political ambitions to move against slavery), but give the player a choice, in line with Lincolns alternatives (hold him, but loose standing in the border states, dismiss him with winning standing in ...

Too many open questions such as were you out of rail capacity by this move? I don't have the line colors down but is blue march and white use rail? If that is the case they tried, but for some reason the train ride was 9 days, seems excessive but it took 7 days to just get to Carthage. I know this p...

I am frustrated by units under construction showing up as movable in the filters when they are not because they are "almost ready". Luck be a Lady, just tonight or all month?

Everything was going along swimmingly until Late September. Then all the sudden I got pummeled. So out of 5 battles (all of which were fairly close considering in four of five AI slightly outnumbered me I was on defensive and AI was attacking, and the other one I greatly outnumbered AI), I lost 4 an...

The standard Supply Wagon is 4 wagons and the standard River Transport Ships is 2 ships, one of either will build the depot. The reason it must have an anchor only is if you use ships. To build you must FIRST control the area; ie: it must be turned your sides color. Once that is done you need to mov...

Auto Garrison - Kinda a cheat

I have discovered the Auto Garrison feature works for the defensive players huge advantage. As the Union I discovered when we benifitted from Dallas Texas going Union, that I just kept the (2) Cavalry on the defense. The South attacked me and I got a free Garrison Unit so we stomped the attackers. B...

I believe (and I may be wrong) if you have a huge Army only part can fight on a given day. Assigned to a stack but follows a sub-unit

On several occassions I have had troops I KNEW were assigned to a stack go off course. I carefully watched one turn before going to the next and re-checked all move orders and sure enough I found the issue. When you have a stack you are sending units to; my example (Eastern Depot) where I gather for...

Musterd is this a fancy way to say disbanded?

On two occassions the Rebels attacked a Garrison in a Stockade in the Far West, on both occassions my little Garrisons won the battle and the Rebs retreated. But I then got a message "Yada yada garrison in Fort Witchamalcallit has been mustered". Then the Garrison even though they took no battle los...

Can we slow down focus on move?

Since there is no replay, I really need the focus on move to be slower. Even on the longest delay it is still too quick to see where the enemy is coming from and going to in just a few seconds. Is it even possable to halt until you hit a continue key. I just cannot keep track of the enemy without re...

I have been studying blockcade methods and one thing that perplexes me is this: New Orleans to get to port it has outlet to Lower Mississippi, Mississippi Mouth letting out into Mississippi Delta and then out to sea. The second route is Lake Pontchartrain, Koney Island letting out to Biloxy Bay and ...

Make sure no locked units are in same stack, might try putting Grant by himself and then he might be promotable.
