Hi, Lowlander - did you find an opponent? It's been ages, but willing to give it a go. 1 turn/day. US eastern time zone. If still open, send me a PM.

Well done game, and well written AAR. Gives me things to think about as I re-enter the game after a long absence.

I'd recommend you take the Union, now, and also request that you write another AAR.

Great Job

Excellent AAR. Love the style and interesting outcome. Keep it up - looking forward to one from the Yankee point of view.

We got it to work

Silliness in public accomplished. Humiliation complete.

Thanks for the good posts on this subject, particularly in September. I've downloaded the procedure...

I know this sounds silly...PBEM .ord question

I'm now the host, and receive the .ord from my opponent. Where exactly do I put it? Into the saved directory? For example, 1861 July?

I know this sounds silly, but my opponent and I have each done it "wrong."

Thanks!

PBEM game not registering with non host

Hi - Currently have one PBEM game going with no issues. Just started another. My opponent is the host. We traded turn 1 with no issues. He has just sent turn 2's .trn file, and it doesn't register when I go to "load game" - it is not visible to be selected. It is as if it doesn't exist. I've attache...

Okay!

Howdy - I've got one PBEM going (my first, and a lot of fun - great opponent). I live in Atlanta, so I'll take the CSA. I have very little to nil experience with them, so should be interesting.

Running 1.07h. Let me know any house rules you recommend.

Any Rebels?

New to the game, played the Union exclusively. Anyone want to give it a go? Open to house rules. Played one PBEM (but not AACW). From what I've seen in the forums, probably good if the Confederate hosts the game (for shipping sightings). US east zone, 5-7 turns a week. More if RL doesn't interfere. ...

Hi, Izver - I think your gunboats need to be set to "offensive" to block the river. I've done that consistently as the yankees and it's worked.
