Order - Printed Manual?

Hi all, I am a happy owner of BoA and ACW (other than not having time to play enough to suit me) and would like to order WIA. I am in the USA and don't see an option to order with the printed manual and physical media. Being old fashioned, I like to have a printed manual and don't mind paying more f...

I was just wondering why Wilmington NC would not be on the list. It was an important port in this era.

Praise and Suggestion ~ Warning long

Let me begin by saying how much I enjoy ACW and how smart at many levels the design is (both game design (supply, command, etc.) and graphics). Thank you to the whole AGEOD team. That said, I would offer an observation regarding game play that would not fit all players needs, but might help make fut...

The return is actually excellent, but a surplus is a surplus, no matter how big. Massive investment will hamstring the north temporarily, but can be made up rather quickly. Thanks for the input guys. My concern re the union investment in industrialization wasn't so much for supply, which I seem to ...

A few more questions

1. What is the frontage for pre-war forts? I am trying to figure out how to garrison the ones I would like to hold on to? 2. Is there a limit to the return on transports in the shipping lanes for the Union. Flooding it with transports did not make much difference it any difference. I am also patroll...

Just my 10 cents: Reading the history suggests to me that a few gun boats can readily block crossing in many areas within the US interior in this era. There is good history for them doing so. I also think that the resource demands for universal river patrol will make it unlikely to occur. I think a ...

I had thought in the 1.10 thread that I read that some reinforcement brigades that were created by the Union player were not appearing. That would be a major bug it seems to me. Did I misunderstand? I am sorry I didn't understand the bug that: "under strength divisions may get unwanted replacements"...

Thanks, I just went and read through the 1.10 thread. Bummer that somethings are improved and others broken in the patch. It makes choosing which version to play a bit more of a choice. Given folks who know the game, which I don't yet; are recommending 1.09e I think I will revert until 1.10 is fixed...

What is the problem with 1.10? I am new to the game and have not noticed a problem yet. :bonk:

I downloaded 1.09a fromt the link you posted. Would I be better served to uninstall and go back to 1.09a?

Thanks.

Thanks a bunch: :sourcil:
1. What are the three phases of supply?
2 & 3. got it.
4. But would the horse art. slow the pursuit force down? More punch is not much use if you don't catch them.

Thanks.

For what it is worth I loved BoA and will buy BoAII and likely many small products off of that engine. (I am ramping up on ACW now). I am very happy to support a small house producing such amazingly fun products, no discount needed here. We have all got to eat.

Several questions

I am still learning the game and have several questions and would love a little help. 1. What is the meaning of the feedback regarding the level of transport I have for rail, rivierine, and sea transport? Is it describing the amount relative to the amount of supply I am producing, number of troops, ...

Help getting started

Hi all. I am a Birth of American vetran trying to get into ACW B&G. Looks great but it is a little overwhelming at first. I was wondering it anyone would care to offer some "middle of the road advice" for recruitment and fund raising policy for the first year or two as the Union. As with games of th...

Possible Training Bug

I have been playing the Americans in the 1775 campaign and run into an odd phenomena. I have not trouble training malitia from malitia -> regular -> trained; but only the first 3 elements of any brigade/regiment ever train. The last element never trains. Is this a new bug or a know bug? (Bye the bye...

Little Bug

Jagger, Still loving the Mod. FYI tring it as the Rebels so far you seem to be right (too easy). I have caught one little bug, one of my middle states malitia actually appears in Nova Scotia on an isolated island.

Thanks again for a great Mod. I will look for the riflemen add on as well.

Pocus, For what it is worth I think Jagger created an excellent mod that ought to be considered at least in part for BoA Gold. The Malitia may be a little over powered, but the feal is definitely closer than the original, it is an excellent addition to your fine product. Thanks to both the AGEOD tea...

Jagger, Thanks for the mod, it is great. Just got through a first run as the Empire and I am going to give it another go. Thanks a bunch. One more quick question. In another post you mention that the mod is not too fun as the Rebels playing against the computer as the Empire. Riflemen & forts

Jagger,

Did the Riflemen/fort mod ever get completed? The files on the link are dated before the discussion of riflemen and forts. About to give the Mod a run and would like to see your most recent work.

Thanks.
