Hello there,

Just rediscovered this game (almost forgot how i'd liked it).
In the past played mostly as Italy, France.
Now thinking about playing the 1880 GB campaign.

It looks quite complicated for the fist see, any ideas, hints how, where to start?

Thanks, i'm thinking on mostly the same, the legion is occupied in Indochina at the moment -it's 1884, and there's only 1 bde what i've got.
Any idea about supply wagons? There'sa big loss of complete train units, and i've got no option to train new ones, is this normal?

Evident, but i have to send the defeated troops to Dakar via sea which is the nearest supply base. I know that the regulars are poor in colonial warfare, but the expedition troops are useless against Toure also. And by the way, the bigger the army, the bigger the losses in every aspect, in hostile, ...

The thing is that the troops has to walk through a harsh weather and only tracked province.
For example the strength of the regular corps was something around 1200, when they arrived to the
destination it was only half of that.

It said capital is used because of the lack of coal... still i donno how can i burn capital instead of coal on board my ships

But am i right if i thought that if i havn't got any neccessary resource, the AI will buy it for me from the market?

Yes, 14coal, but how if i started with that turn with minus forty-something? And the production has to be +754 -if i'm right, which is much more than the expenses. I'll check the inputs soon. Interesting, the input is capital and mech.pts, but the expenses of mechanical parts are zero... anyway, all...
