I have the game in C:/Matrix Games/Wars of Napoleon and even by dropping the download into that folder it still tells me "wars of napoleon not installed"
I have not experienced this problem with any of the betas can anybody help please?
Zooter I guess this just illustrates the diversity of computers out there and the problems that poses to AGEod with this game. I tried as vicberg suggested as well and got the same result as you. Just move the folder up one level on the hierachy as I suggested a few posts up and it works fine (at le...
Same happened to me. The instructions given means that the ED file you need ends up in the wrong level of the hierachy. You need to find the unzipped file, which in my case was in C:/Matrix Games/Wars of Napoleon/ED/ED Cut or copy the file and paste it directly in the Wars of Napoleon folder. So tha...

I know it's an age-old AGEOD phenomenon; defeated AI leaders without commands get marooned in enemy territory and don't appear even try to get back to friendly provinces.
Situation: In my current GC the Catholics dominate all of Bohemia and yet the Protestants continue to purchase artillery in Prag. Once the garrison sorties it defeats and simply captures the lone unit. Unless of course there's a subtle under plot of schemes and counter-schemes not yet highlighted in...
Situation: April 1629 and Catholic troops are fighting their way northward, Wallenstein and his C1700 PWR army attacks the Danish in Lunebeck he wins the battle and is set to lay siege to the town. The May turn starts and he's nowhere to be seen the whole left flank of the Catholic forces has disapp...
Situation: Gallant Protestant defenders in Prag repel an attack by Catholic Bucqouy who retreats and you would imagine they'd flee to an adjacent province however his stack actually appears in Pardubice 4 regions to the East. However, he's actually in Melnik only 1 province eastwards as I moved out ...
