In Early August, Halleck lost another 2000 men in skirmishing around Louisville, but there was generally no change in the area. 4,200 men remained in the city with about 10,000 outside. However, the forces outside were exhausted from repeated sorties of Halleck's and their was hope that the siege wo...

I think you can create models/units, but not family types (see Models Families.ini in the alias folder), so I thought it would need to be $FamilyType1 = $famEngineer. Sharpshooters are $famSkirmisher, I'm not sure if any other models use that family, nor am I sure if it matters, but I think the icon...

Fast Move Trick

There are two versions of this trick, I do version 2 regularly, I've never done version 1 before my current game. I don't think they are too gamey because movement is so hard to control in this game, but they are probably not WAD. Version 1: In my current game (if you are not Straight Arrow, you can...

I don't know how to split them, but one idea I wanted to try when I was modding you might try. You could "name" them by making the first unit in them a Colonel which you recruit or arrive by event - so the brigade's name will just be the name of the Colonel. This unit be based on engineers but with ...

You are right. I don't quite have the money right now. I like to build divisions as fast as division generals arrive and I like to have a few Ironclads around (more on them later), so I don't do artillery like I should.

I think it is WAD and not cryptocode, at least Rod Smart's example. The strategic trait has a lot of effect on promotion.
