I just picked up WIA and was wondering if it was recommended and safe to install the latest interim patch. Also, any timetable when the next "official" patch would be available? I prefer to use the official versions versus beta, unless we are a long time away from official release.

i'm beginning the Great campaign and now we are in March of 1757 (later the demo end) .There are very interesting military options that i don't see in the demo. Wow, it does look like it is available now from this site. That stinks. All advertisements said the same day of the 9th. I only went for the Gamersgate version because of $5 deal for WIA.

Maybe Gamersgate will be released soon then.

Sorry for all the questions lately, but on the Gamersgate site it says a benefit of pre-ordering is you will be able to pre-load the game. Since release is scheduled for tomorrow, any idea when pre-load is available? Also, any idea when the normal release will be available?

Funny thing about that is the main ROP page on Gamersgate page doesn't mention the special deal. Only place I have seen it mentioned is in forums.

I'll give it a shot though...kind of frustrating the process does not seem straight forward

How does the discount work for BOA2? Do you get some kind of code when you pre-order on Gamersgate to get the discount? Will I be able to download BOA2 immoediately? Just trying to understand how it works. $35 for two games seems like a good deal!

Thanks for the info and understandable about the scripted stuff. Just curious, is there a way to really tell that you have won/lost the game after the last turn? Is it just who has more National Morale at that point you decide to stop playing?

Has anybody made it to the last scheduled turn in the long Campaign? What happens after that? What if you want to continue playing?
