I know the true awesomeness of AGEOD's games lie in PBEM but the AI still needs some love. A whole lotta' love. An AI that is incapable of defending its primary objective is broken. To read about the CSA not leaving anything between Washington and Richmond except for a fixed garrison sounds kinda ba...

I have not been able to determine if lowering a depots level by one has any affect on the supplies inside it. Anyhow... This is a bit off-topic but the thread got me thinking about it soo... I think it would be fun if the partisan raid card had an affect on victory points. Say, every 100 units of su...

I think that it should be empty (mine is.) I would guess that it is for modding or debugging or something like that.

I think if the partisan raid card is able to destroy any level of depot that if would benefit the Union more than the CSA. The Union start with so many more depots, many of them redundant, while the CSA supply chain is much more precarious. Also, the cost to rebuild the depots is much harder to deal...

Brigs are the ship type that you use to do your blockade running. Put them in the blockade boxes to get money and war supply or in the shipping lane box to hinder the Union shipping. If you are after more war supply it may be better to build ironworks.

I knew a helpful veteran would come in and give a much better answer than me... And after analyzing Captain_Orso's essay I've concluded that a stack is, in fact, a typical clump of counters. :neener: Also, I thought Bragg was a Master Driller, not a Trainer. So his ability wou...

That won't work. A random imaginary conquest won't appeal to her. Instead say something like, 'I thought that girl you hate at work was from Norfolk, so I took it over because I thought YOU would want me to.'

It is a force. Just a standard group of guys, I think...
Bragg would train everyone in his intimidate group, not everyone in the location.

General Experience

What is the most experience you have ever had on a general or even a unit? Has anyone ever legitimately gotten up to 9 or 10 stars?

Also, does experience not increase a generals strategic rating anymore? I thought I remember it doing so in the first game.

I think that would be great to see in game.

Against AI it seems normal no? Can´t say I am suprised here, uber Grant+ entrenchment+ similar or lower strength factor = sudden death+ uber Grant :) I guess what really caught me off guard about these battles was that it was not my doing. I mean, normally when I kick the crap out of the AI it is b...

Can't see the pictures. Oops, total fail on my part. I am not very forum savvy. Can you see them now? The first pic just shows two armies on either side of the Cumberland. A Union force lead by Grant in Gallatin opposed by a massive Confederate force in Nashville. Grant has supporting corps in Bowl...

Absurd Battle Royale

Hello. Today I feel compelled to share the most absurd battle I have ever had with the AGEOD games. I have had plenty of big defeats and victories, but nothing on this scale. This is the type of battle that unexpectedly ends the war. Very much unexpected. For several months the Union and Confederate...

I don't know if they historically existed or not. I just assumed that since both sides are missing the same numbers that is was an error.

Division Names

My spreadsheet is very angry...

The 43rd to 49th Division names are missing from the faction files for the USA and the CSA.

I edited myself some USA and CSA flags that are completely static - no twitching. If you would like to use them as well then place the contents of the .zip into your Civil War II\CW2\Graphics\Factions\Cityscape Flags folder. Don't forget to backup the old ones and all that jazz. You messed up quite a bit here buddy, don't ya know?

The Minnesota cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis are not in the correct location. They should be swapped with each other, including the movement of the capital.

I got this weird issue with some starving natives... I am playing as the French in the FIW against the AI. The native tribes south and west of Oswego joined my side via event. They never joined the British, I didn't attack them. I think everything was fine until the natives got recalled for winter, ...

Bug

I'm playing the FIW scenario as the French. I took Halifax from the Brits, I have had it for a few turns. The British then used the EP option to call home for new merchants which arrived in Halifax under French control. Edit: In the log it does say that I captured a fleet in Nova Scotia, so technica...
