I am not 100% sure on what affect they have(obviously reduce losses some how i suspect), and how to use them. As there seems to be a limit on Field Hospitals in the reinforcements section, I got to thinking where should i put them.
Should I have them as an element in a single Division or leave them as a lone unit in a Corps or Army ?
Thanks

Hi
The tooltip over his ability icon on the unit detail window will give you the exact info on his effects.
Basically, they help recover cohesion faster.
You should put them on your corps stacks as they will help the whole stack. If you put them on the army stack they will help only the units on the army stack (usually less than on the combat corps stacks). So it’s better one on each of the corps if you can afford them.
No need to put them on division. Better outside.
Regards!

I have put FH's as single units inside Corps/Army in the past, i tried putting them inside a division as an elemet recently. So I guess I was using them correctly before, time to go back to that way. Thanks for putting me straight

You can place FH inside a division of a corps or leave them loose in the corps stack. The FH's effect will be the same in either case. The disadvantage to placing it in a division is that it will take a slot that could be filled with a combat element. Remember divisions are limited to 18 elements.

Yeah, in heinsight using up an element slot for a FH or Signal unit is a waste. Thanks.
