moron question #3

I was sitting with Lee in Richmond locked and unable to move from his arrival until 1863 when the game crashed...
What am I to do to unlock the unit? Lots of units were moved in with and without leaders and troops were stacked with him.
I know I am missing something. What is it?

Maybe you stacked him with units that are locked

Did you ever try to move him into a stack all by himself except with a HQ to make him an army general?
I don't know if that is the trick, or not, but in my current game that was what I did and he was released in June of 62 a turn, or so after I got the message he was on the way.

I did that but I may not have left it stacked with him long enough. I will try that in the next go-round.
