Just finished the tutorial and would like to play the Gettysburg scenario as the Union. Even after the tutorials, I am not really sure where to start here as it seems that most of the Union units are already formed into Corps, so it's just a matter of strategic placement to start. Any tips are welcome...

Yes, there is no much to do in this very shorts scenarion besides reorganizing a little your forces and move stacks around.
For a short introductory scenario i like Shiloh much more. Its a little longer and you can move around and make some inserting decisions.

On there you will find a bunch of great small, and medium scenarios and partial (west, east, Far west) campaigns that are perfect to start playing.
