Hard freezes

I cannot seem to get past three turns before the game completely locks up the computer. It does not seem to be related to turn processing. Normally it happens when I walk away for a few minutes and come back and the the whole game is frozen. I cannot alt-tab out or anything and must do a reboot. It has happened everytime.

Hard freeze or blue screens are coming from the video card. You have first to update your video driver before we check anything else. Then if the problem persists, send me your DxDiag file please.

To get the DxDiag file: Click on the Windows Start button, then on Execute. Then type 'DxDiag'. Once you are in the utility, run all the tests, then choose to save the results into a file (on your desktop for example). This is the file I need.

By the way the players who had video problems are rather positive in using the Omega Drivers and not the official one. So if you have still the issue, please check the corresponding thread in the HQ forum, this can help you further.

Checked Nvidia's site and noticed new drivers and so I went ahead and installed them and rebooted. Tried a fresh new campaign game and it locked up after two turns. I've attached the dxdiag. Going to also try the video thread that you suggested.

The problem is that Omega Drivers don't support Vista for now. Actually we don't support Vista ourselves, but until the demo is released we are still willing to do a refund of your copy as a gesture of goodwill.

Sorry, we can't do much on our side until the third parties does their job: Microsoft in stabilizing the system, and the video card manufacturers in providing driver 100% Vista compatible (and this include retro compatibility with DirectX version 8 and 9).

To get the refund, you have to contact contact@ageod.com with a copy to support@ageod.com

thanks.
