Slow turn processing

I consider my computer to be pretty high end but the amount of time it takes to process a turn is horrendous. I'm wondering if this is normal.

Hi and welcome to the forums
Its difficult to give an answer if you don't give any precise info. Things like...
What are you computer specs
How much is a "horrendous" turn process time??
Which scenario / date (lots of units aroudn??)
Which patch do you use
Cheers!

I have a Q9300 running at 3.0ghz, 4GB DDR3 ram and a Radeon 4870.
Turns take roughly 30 seconds to process. There an especially long delay after processing the days. It becomes stuck at 15/15 for awhile.
Oh, and I'm running the latest patch with hotfix.

30 seconds for the process isnt that long IMO. Sometimes I can smoke a whole cig while waiting for it too finish up a highly active turn.

30 seconds is fast, in my opinion. Before 1.14 we were talking minutes to process each turn, especially deeper into a game.

I wish my computer only took 30 seconds to get through a turn!

AFAIK AGEod's games will only use one of the cores of your quad, you can check it in the task manager
