PBEM Problems

My opponent and I have encountered a problem playing PBEM. I'm the host playing as the CSA. Our first turn played fine. However, his second turn isn't showing up when he goes to the load game screen. He can still see the 1st turn, and he sees both turns in the save file.
We've double checked it by sending the file with a different name. No go.
I'm sending him the proper files, but we've had no luck. Anyone else have this problem or now how to solve it?
Thanks.

Gray,
Thanks for your quick reply, but Vista is not the problem. We are both running XP.
The weird thing is that he could run the first turn, but not the second. It's not there when he goes to the "load game" page from the main menu, but the first turn is.
Also, he can see both turns in the "save" folder. And I'm positive that I sent the .trn file both times.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Mark Froio

Hi Max,
In my PBEM I just overwrote the earlier turn file with the new turn file and didn't have that problem. If you do that you shouldn't have two turn files in the Save folder. It's a good idea to keep old turn files in case the host computer crashes or has a problem processing turns. You should probably keep them as email attachments or in a separate folder though. Hope that helps.

77NY,
Thanks for that idea. I've gotten in the habit of numbering each turn, but I guess I really don't have to.
We'll give it a shot.
Thanks,
Max
