Hey,

I just bought the game this month and I love it- but it crashes in 1863 everytime. Reading this forum, I see that i need the new patch 1.13b.
So here is my newbie question. I play at home on my gaming computer- but currently my internet is not working in our area. So I downloaded the patch on a flash drive and tried to activate it on my game. I keep getting a crash and it won't load the game. What am I doing wrong- maybe I don't understand how to load the patch, etc. or what is your suggestion- again- I love this game!!!!

The patch comes as a ZIP, have you unzipped this archive to get the patch executable? When done you should double click on it and choose your installation directory, for example C:\Program Files\AGEOD's Awesome American Civil War

but not

C:\Program Files\AGEOD's Awesome American Civil War\ACW

I will give that a try
