Hi guys,

OK, Playing 1.11d, I'm playing CSA against AI USA, and during the turn resolution the game crashed. The end of the log shows as access violation error when using the THost.CheckBombardment function:

Code: Select all

9:39:22 AM  [Error    ]  THost.CheckBombardment                Exception caught: Violation d'accès à l'adresse 005D17B8 dans le module 'AACW.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 00000020
9:39:22 AM  [Error    ]  THost.AbortProcess                    Hosting aborted while performing MakeStep:CheckBombardment 11
9:39:22 AM  [Critical ]  TGameSim.ExportData                   Exception caught, ExportStep: Structures Violation d'accès à l'adresse 005608AA dans le module 'AACW.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 00000230

Also, there are a bunch of warnings just prior to that about Winfield S. Hancock, and a few about John A. Logan...

Code: Select all

8:55:41 AM  [Warning  ]  TUnit.CheckConsistency                Unit (UID, Name): 1010021 John A. Logan is a SU without corresponding unit in the DB

...

9:39:22 AM  [Warning  ]  TUnit.CheckConsistency                Unit (UID, Name): 1011481 Winfield S. Hancock is a SU without corresponding unit in the DB

saved game attached.

No trouble Pocus. These kinds of things can easily become confusing, believe me I understand completely.

Thank you for your hard work!

Have you tried the public beta patch? It fixes the Bombardment issue.

Righty-O, will download it. I should still be able to continue with my pre-beta patch save I take it?

Yes.
Grey recommended backing the save up first though, which is a reasonable suggestion.
