Periodically, I will receive this message when I try to end my turn or save the game file:

"The file appears to be locked by the operating system, retry later."

What does it mean? I have never heard of my OS locking the file. Is there any workaround or do I just wait and retry later?

Are you playing with 1.02 ? , I thought Pocus fixed it.

It seems to appear after the first time you "saved under".

For me, the best solution was to quit game and reload ( assuming you succeeded to save once before ).
Then this problem never appeared again.

This happen on some rare computers, mostly when creating a new game.
