I have not been able to start Birth of America and first had the serial and memory error, patched the game to 1.13d, and now when I start BOA I get a black screen with a white bar at the bottom and Age 2.0 in small font at the bottom left hand corner above the white bar. I have run the program as administrator and messed with compatibility settings to no avail.

I am running windows 7 professional 64 bit

any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have directX 9.0c installed?
Remember that this is pre-Win7 software and you need it!

I have , removed re installed Direct X and still no luck. Won't give up still looking for fixes. Hard to find other troubleshooting on BOA
