downloaded the game pretty much as soon as it came out. Just bought a new computer and transferred the files and the game worked fine for a couple of days but now i get error message cant find D3DX81ab.dll, not being computer literate i have no idea what it means

this is a DLL which is needed and is normally found in the same directory as BOA.exe. Methink it has disappeared somehow (overzaelous removal of save games, gremlins in the computer, and such ).

If you still have your previous computer, fetch the DLL from it and put it in the directory, it should works.
