PBEM Service Status?

A year or so ago there was some talk of a web based AGEOD 'PBEM Service' facilitity to simplify the PBEM gaming. Does anyone of this PBEM service or utility was ever completed and released?

Unfortunately, no. I do have hopes we will see something like it one day, though :)
