I don't know about any John King.

It's probably Rufus. There was a General John King who commanded a brigade at Chickamauga and the Atlanta campaign but he didn't make much of a mark.

If John King is Rufus King ( ), I would propose: 3-1-1 with Master Driller

Only concern I have with King is his limited experience with a command. Yes, he did a great job raising the Iron Brigade, but fell sick during/prior to its first engagement at 2nd Bull Run...and shortly thereafter he resigned his commission and sat out the rest of the war.

To me, the question is should King be in the database? With those generals killed early in the war, I think the "what ifs" by including them, make things interesting. But....theres not really much of a what if for King. He was epileptic and resigned because of it. Is there a way to account for this in the game? (Either with coding or use of one of the traits?) If not...should he remain in the database?

That said, I guess theres a possibility that in real life he may have continued to hold command during the war. So, should he have the ability to lead at higher commands?

Maybe a "get sick often" trait. For him, Scott and some others...

Yep, a "sickly" trait would be most usefull.

Or perhaps a piece of code to randomly make unavailable some leaders...

isn't there something like that in that other american rev game? never played it, but according to the screen shots, if i remember right.... leaders are unavailable due to too much carousing the night before, or bout with the clap...that'd be useful if we could toss in a fish bake for pickett
