I don't really have much to say about Curtis. He was a better than average general who would probably be better remembered had he fought on the other side of the Mississippi. I think his offensive and defensive ratings are a bit high. He did win several of the largest battles west of the Misssissippi but his opponents weren't the greatest of generals. I raised his pol rating some since he was a congressman and a Lincoln supporter.

He may deserve occupier. His abolitionist views caused problems in Missouri and got him reassigned to Kansas. It's borderline to me. The designers and testers need to make that call.

He should be an engineer, at least at the lower ranks (though he entrenched pretty effectively before Pea Ridge (so effective Van Dorn decided to march around the trenches and places himself on Curtis' lines of communications...). His command style seems to have been a bit odd, but I mostly know him for Pea Ridge, which can be considered an early war battle and a peculiar situation.
