Leonidas Polk:

1. If you want to add a nickname, you can give Polk "Bishop".

2. Other than that, I don't really have any suggestions.

I'd raise his political rating some. He was another favorite of Davis who got a much higher command than he deserved. I would also give him Good_Administrator_Army. He was very popular with his troops.

It's starting to seem like almost everyone was very popular with his troops.

Agree, I have started the compilation and we'll be having too many "Good_admin_army".

I think we can agree on no more than 4-5 general with the same traits for each side. This will induce us to be thorough in the attribution... :sourcil:

Why is he rated so poorly?
Does the gaming community love Bragg?
I have never understood this. Polk saw and understood Bragg's failures and the Union deployment strengths and weaknesses at Perryville and Murfreesboro. He did a good job fortifying Columbus, Ky in the first year of the war. What did he do wrong? We rate Reynolds 5-4-4 because people thought the world of him but Polk who actually DID something 4-0-1.
bah.

That one I'll debate. He never got into position to attack while a decent opportunity existed. The opportunities were there, but Polk was sulking about the latest thing Bragg said.

BTW - Not a Bragg fan.
