A Brigadier at First Bull Run, this general would have been a senior division commander on par with Longstreet or Jackson had he not been killed in this first battle. Who knows what he could have done later in the war?
Doesn't seem to have chosen the best defensive ground at Bull Run, but didn't shrink from the fight either.

He's not on the list is he? I'm not sure if they want recommendations for new generals. If they do we should probably have a thread just for that. I have a few myself.

I think the original post indicates that new general suggestions are fair game.

Yes, but we'll take only the more interesting at first as Sandra has already a full schedule with drawing portraits.
Please provide us with pictures.

Even if he does not make it to the generals with portraits, we also have "generic" leaders that can be enclosed for scenario purposes...and I happen to miss one for the CSA in my bull run setup

...
the generic leaders we have are...
CSA Major General ldr_CSA_MajGen NULL NULL NULL NULL 0 0 2 30 General 1 NULL 3 1 1
CSA Brigadier General ldr_CSA_BrigGen NULL NULL NULL NULL 0 0 1 50 General 1 NULL 3 1 1
Same for USA
We can make them 3 2 2 instead of 3 1 1 may be

what about leaders which would get a generic portrait but get a specific entry in the DB?

As a senior division commander, he might easily have been promoted to Major General and commanded a corps. These stats would make him just senior to Ewell and AP Hill.

I can't see this guy being in the game. He's famous for giving Stonewall Jackson his nickname. There are plenty of Corps and Division leaders that can be added. He commanded a brigade for less than five weeks and died in his only battle.

I may have him as a generic leader in Bull run scenario, but that's the max I plan to do right now...

I understand. Maybe something to consider for later, perhaps. After all, many other colonels and brigadiers who were present at Bull Run went on to have significant careers in the Confederate army, including Longstreet, Early, D.R. Jones, Ewell and Kirby Smith. Bee would have been no exception, but for the fact that he had the misfortune of being killed.
Had Jackson killed at Bull Run instead of Bee, Civil War history would have been totally different. That's the sort of thing that a wargame can take into account.
