Signing the laws...

Another question for you AACW vets :)

Could someone tell me why certain "laws" that are signed (primarily the Union Blockade and the Southern Cotton Embargo) "expire" after only a couple months? Why would Lincoln need to re-proclaim a Blockade of the Southern coastline, and take away 10 more foreign intervention points from the CSA player, for instance?

All Options can be clicked once (or twice) a year. These restart at Summer & Winter.

When you start April campaign, only a few turns left to "restart".

I understand about the volunteer, war bonds, etc., being made re-available...but making the proclamation of blockade and the embargo re-available is kinda stretching historical accuracy (wait a minute, do I actually have a GRIPE? LOL!).

Will this be addressed, perhaps, in a future patch?

Consider this represents just mantaining the the activity over time, not "promulging" new laws.

OK, I can buy that -- but I think the "bonuses" that are given should be tweaked down for each time the act is put into effect.
