What a coincidence, i found this thread just 1 minute after you posted, Pocus. Let me be the first one to congratulate with you and to thank AgeOD for this new patch. :cwboy:

P.S. I would change that "although, though" statement. But if you want, you can write it in french. :siffle:

Gray_Lensman wrote:One thing not mentioned in Pocus' changes at the beginning of this thread is the introduction of "Evolving Maximum Entrenchment Levels". For more information on this see the 2nd post of this thread: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=6249

Depending on feedback, I may have to tweak in the random increase percentages somewhat, but in my tests they perform rather well. Keep in mind, the Max Level has to get to 5 pretty quick for "River Bombardment" rules to work soon enough.

Wow!! That's is a biggie! :coeurs: :coeurs:
It sounds very well but... will it work on a campaign started on a previous patch??
And... i suppose the fix for the Alexandria-Port Tobacco is also included is not it??
Regards!

I think someone will have to edit the readme soon... Gray has been pretty busy lately and Pocus has forgotten to put there some of his new work :siffle:

Thanks for the update! Gonna start a new one and see how Athena does...

BTW, while processing the first turn with full debug logging on I got one error in ScriptReport.txt:
"Line 6529: => SetType command Unknown identifier (check if Alias is OK): UNI_USA_HURLBURT This kind of object {Unit} must have his identifier specified as a numeric
Line 6531: S. Hurlburt created in group 61' Division Generals"

Didn't appear to hurt anything but I thought I would pass it on to someone more knowledgeable.

The entire 1.10 series of patches should all be compatible when used with mp84's update. I'll give it another go at updating the mod itself this weekend.

I have not played enough with the new weather model to know what is possible, but I just got some snow in southern MO in early June 1861. Regions are Buffalo, Hart, Rockbridge, & West Plains.

WAD per the DB?

BTW: Strasburg Depot: Sweet!

Indeed, the additional Depot and the entrenchment level were previously discuted with Gray and accepted, but I forgot to add them in the readme.

As for the Hulrburt problem, I have to see with the DB what's going on.

you may have answered this already

how are on going pbem games effected? I assume both should be upgraded right after a turn is processed. However, what will be impact if we happen to be off kilter for one turn?

Gray_Lensman wrote:I attempted to fix a mispelling of Hurlburt to the correct spelling of "Hurlbut" as pointed out by another gamer elsewhere on the forum. This may inadvertently cause some "Alias" type errors in previously saved games. It should not cause Alias errors in a newly started games, provided the game has been properly patched to remove residual files. If anyone does receive "Alias" errors with a newly started game, please post the particulars here.

This happened in a newly started game, but I did forget to do a complete deletion and fresh installation as you always suggest. I will do that before I proceed any further so as not to report any residual file problems inadvertently.

I had the Clarksburg Militia activate, and I moved them to Lexington. The next turn, after their arrival, they were again shown locked for 3 turns, now in Lexington:

Also, I can't seem to get Johnston to replace missing elements in the new Strasburg depot. I've had him sitting inside in passive mode since he arrived, and its now August, and no elements have been replaced. All other units elsewhere seem to be filling out fine - Can anyone else confirm this? Maybe just bad luck so far...
