Amphibious Operations: Unloading an Army

If I unload an army from ships onto a hostile shore, is the only chance just to dump everyone on the beach, as they are on the boats in no particular order, and reassemble the pieces later? Or can I unload separate stacks so that I can reform corps in the same instant and land them in proper order? The game engine allows me to plot it this way, but I am a bit confused by an error message I am getting when trying to shift units from one stack to another, something like "only one army can be unloaded per turn from a fleet". Except for this, the plots look alright, i.e. as if I would be landing properly formed corps. Is it possible? I don't want to end up landing only one corps and leaving the others on shipboard to watch the fight ... :bonk:

Thanks for any help! :cwboy:

You can do separate stacks, the trick is to not try to separate out from a stack that already has a move plotted. Separate your stacks directly from the fleet, then plot the individual moves for them. Use riverine transport to unload stacks into multiple locations.
