Playing CSA, FEL was 39 i December 1861. In January 1862 it is down to 3! Se attachement. Can't be right can it?

This is a rather important issue but I have not been too concious about this earlier.

Late December is a turn when political options can be played; -36 seems a bit much, but if the Union has success with their "blockade"-option and your "embargo"-option backfires, you can see a large shift in foreign entry. The game log should show this.

Which level did you choose for "foreign entry" in your game? If you have chosen some of the ones that make it easier, perhaps that might cause larger shifts than you see with default foreign entry?

EDIT: tried taking a look at your screenshot, but is was impossible to read any of the text. Also, I recommend using gif or jpg, rather than bmp, since that makes for much smaller files, without loosing information (unless you overdo things ;) )

1. Haven't checked yet ,was just in for a short look. You are probably right, since I remember trying the embargo as CSA. Rather bad choise even the chance of success i 66%...

2. Plays the default settings.

3. Which programs makes gif and jpg files?

1. Well, if it had been the other way round (Union backfire; CSA success), you probably would've been whistling all the way to the bank ;)

2. OK, I still think it's possible to have such a shift based on options; if you are under in VP and NM, that can cause another 2 points in your disfavor as well.

3. I use Gimp, but you can use a multitude of other programs, ranging from Photoshop to various "album" programs that provide some minor image functionality.

1. He he

2. I am superior in both instances, at the moment that is.

3. Thanks. It should anyway be easy to read a bmp file, just increase the size. By using Ctl and the mouse scroll for instance.

An excellent tool. :)

For screenshots I like to use FastStone Capture (http://www.faststone.org/, shareware, 20$) or Hardcopy (free for non-commercial use, http://www.hardcopy.de/hardcopy/english/index.php).

Cheers
