I am curious as to why exactly its snowing in the middle of Mississippi and in Florida.

It doesn't usually snow in those places. Ever. :)

Just one of the things I'm noticing on the first play through of the game.

edit-

Its actually more than snowing in Florida. Apparently there is a Blizzard in Jacksonville. :-)

I also noticed that while it takes 17 days for Indians to cross a river during the winter, they can apparently cover the 2,000 miles from Arkansas to San Francisco in 11 days. :)

On other thread you stated you were using version 1.05 fo the game.
I fear Groove74 is also using some outdated version.
Please update to 1.09. You will like it! :cwboy:
Weather, travel times to off map boxes and TONS of other things have been fixed/improved on later patches.
And in addition now there is another TON of new feature added to the game which both of you are missing. :p leure:
When you update, check the readme file on your game instalation folder and you will see a looooong list of improvements :coeurs:

You have the download link on the bottom of the main Forum page or on the siganture of any Pocus (the game programmer) post.

Regards!
