I am playing the union and won in Dec 1864. It says I can keep playing, but can you also keep playing after Jan 1866? I want to make sure I have enough time to do a Shermanesque march through Georgia.

you can play till 2007 if you wish...the fact is that after 1866, there are no longer any game events, so it will for sure lack spice

what your saying is, you can play until you destroy every little defiant rebel, burn their all there houses, villages and cities. Rape and pillage their women, beat their chilren and shoot their dogs, and anything else thats left sweep them down to the Gulf of Mexico, that's my type of total war :niark:

Give me boats and a beach to land and I'll do that as well. Of course I am dreaming, I have only finished one Apr61 campaign which resulted in a stalemate. more practice and I willbe in Paris by years end :tournepas
