Adding Units to Existing Divisions Question

Starting with the Confederacy in the earliest campaign I am trying to add units to existing divisions, but I am unable.

Is it not possible to add units to divisions that already exist without destroying the division and reforming it? I hate to do that and pay the extra costs.

Thank you.

Hi
Yes you can, but always to a max of 18 elements (not units!)
To add, select the division and the unit you want to add (with control+left click, like in any windows program).
Then, on the middle orders tab (just to the left of the unit panel) you will see a light up button with a plus (+) sign.
Click it and... voilá!!
If the button its gray, then the division and the unit you want to merge must add up more tahn 18 elements... OR the unit (perhaps a brigade) had a leader embedded. You must separate this leader because only one leader is allowed per division.
Hope it helps
Cheers!!

Are you playing with the most up-to-date version? I thought I was having a similar problem a while back and then suddenly it stopped --- might have been a momentary snafu. Make sure you have the most recent patch/fix.
