Corps and division management

Just begun to play the game (only small scenarios), I read the manual and played the tutorials, and have a few (probably stupid) questions.

1) The manual says you can detach a brigade from a division. As far as I see, the only way to reorganize divisions is to disband and reform them; i.e. you can't select / drag / drop a single brigade in a division to move it to other containers (or to make it an independent unit). Do I miss something (if not, consider it added to the wishlist)?

2) Can the player determine the Army to which a corps is attached? It seems not. If not, how is the attachment determined?

It looks like another squirrel on the board. :niark: As for number one, I have only been able to detatch bregades from a Division by disbanding the division and reforming it with all units except the one I am detatching.
As for number two, I would like an answer to this myself. My guess is that the Corp being formed within command radius of two Armys would be under the army commanded by a general with the highest seniority. It seems to me that it should go under the nearest Army. Hope Pocus answers.

If you click on a corps, the parent army will glow red. If you click on a army, the children corps will glow red.

for now this is the nearest HQ, as this is what people want most of the time.

You have to split and the re-assemble all by the brigade you want to detach for now, right.

O.K. thanks. Let me insist on the idea to make brigades detachable from divisions through drag and drop. One of the nicest features of ageod's design is the easy management of the units; splitting and reforming divisions is sometimes quite annoying.

Forming brigades

On the same theme, can you form brigades from regiments? I've been trying to form a couple of all-Zouave brigades (yeah, I'm sick, I need help) but have been unable to figure it out.

Did make an all Zouave division though. Too bad the general is still in his blue uniform :)
